Amanda Costelloe Named Women’s Empowerment Awards Nominee
Some moments in business feel loud and celebratory… and others feel a little quieter, but just as meaningful.
Being named a nominee for the Women’s Empowerment Awards is one of those moments for me.
It’s something I’m incredibly grateful for – not just as recognition, but as a reflection of the heart behind the work I’ve been building through Olive & Eve Photography.
Supporting Women Through Photography, Creativity & Storytelling
When I started this business, I didn’t set out chasing awards.
I simply wanted to create work that felt real.
Work that helped people feel comfortable, confident, and seen – whether that’s a bride on her wedding day, a growing family, or a woman stepping into her business and needing visuals that reflect who she truly is.
Over time, I realized how often I was working with women who were building something of their own. Women navigating motherhood, careers, creativity, and everything in between.
And being trusted to capture even a small part of that… it’s something I don’t take lightly.

Women in Business, Motherhood & Building Something Meaningful
So much of this journey has been shaped by the women around me.
Friends who have become business owners.
Mothers learning to balance it all.
Creatives finding their voice.
And if I’m honest, a lot of my own motivation comes from living in that space too.
Running a business while raising two young girls has shifted how I see everything – my work, my time, and the kind of impact I want to have.
It’s made me more intentional.
More grounded.
And more connected to why this work matters.
For those navigating similar seasons, I’ve shaped my offerings to feel flexible and supportive:

A Nomination That Reflects More Than Just the Work
This nomination isn’t just about photography.
It’s about the connections built along the way.
The stories that have been shared with me.
The moments I’ve been trusted to capture.
It’s about the women who have supported me, worked with me, referred me, and believed in what I’m building.
And it’s about continuing to create a space – through my work – where people feel comfortable showing up as themselves.

Looking Ahead – Continuing to Uplift & Support Women
If there’s one thing I hope to keep doing, it’s this:
Creating work that feels honest.
Supporting women as they grow and evolve.
And continuing to build something that has meaning behind it.
